Spring Session
The Leaders of Tomorrow (L.O.T.) is a 6-week program designed for Grade 9 students currently registered with Pathways to Education Regent Park. Students will learn self-advocacy, accountability, leadership, and communication skills. Participants will explore restorative practices, conflict resolution, community building, relationship repair, group decision-making, and fostering understanding among peers.
When: Wednesdays from 5 PM to 7 PM, starting May 7th and running until June 11th. There
Where: Daniels Spectrum, 585 Dundas Street East, Suite 230 (2nd Floor).
- Light snacks will be provided.
- All participants who complete the program and attend at least 5 out of the six sessions will receive a program completion certificate.

There are only 15 spots available for this session, and it's on a first-come, first-served basis.

Pathways has been gifted a small number of tickets for Grade 11 and Grade 12 Pathways students/families to attend Mustafa’s upcoming concert at Meridian Hall (1 Front Street East, Toronto) on Tuesday May 6th at 8pm.
Mustafa is a Juno and Polaris prize-winning singer and poet. He is also a Pathways alumni from right here in Regent Park! A limited number of Pathways families can access 2 tickets to see Mustafa perform.
What you need to know:
• Tickets are limited and will be available on a first-come first-served basis

• Fill in the form to express interest in 2 tickets. Completing the form DOES NOT guarantee you will get tickets. We will reach out to you to confirm.
• A parent or guardian must receive the tickets. Tickets will not given directly to students.

We will also have a guest speaker, a guidance counsellor from a local high school speaking about High School Graduation Requirements.

Are you in Grade 11 or younger and thinking about where to attend university?
Attend the Information Sessions virtual event on Thursday, May 22, from 5 to 7 pm (ET). You can watch university presentations and connect with university staff and students in real time.
How Does the Event Work?
There are four 30-minute sessions during the event, and you can choose which university sessions you want to attend. The event schedule will be available in early May. Sign up now to get your personalized link to the event website and to receive the session schedule when it's ready.

What It’s All About
In recognition of First Responders Day in Ontario, Tropicana Community Services, in partnership with Toronto Police Services, Fire Services, Paramedic Services, and the TTC, is hosting a one-day immersive workshop for Black youth ages 16–25.
This is more than a career fair — it’s your chance to connect directly with first responders, ask questions, try hands-on activities, and discover both uniformed and civilian career paths in emergency services.

Every PA Day, students have the opportunity to visit unique facilities at UHN and participate in fun STEM-related workshops. Sessions will be facilitated by staff and researchers who will share first-hand what their typical work day might entail.
If you are interested in STEM and learning more about what programs/careers are out there, this is the program for you. Attendance will also count towards the Certificate of Participation (and SHSM Certificate). Potential topics include workshops on biology, cancer research and wet lab techniques, with lab tours at facilities across UHN's 6 Research Institutes. There are no fees associated with this program.
